Roxy Henry is Democracy Security Project’s Operations and Program Assistant, with a background in public policy research, social issues, and health policy.

Prior to joining the Democracy Security Project, Roxy gained experience in policy research, advocacy, and public sector engagement through a range of academic and professional roles. She served as an intern with the Local Government Association in London, where she supported the Labour Group by coordinating communications, assisting with large-scale event planning, and engaging with local elected officials and staff. Roxy also worked as a research intern with the Political Science Research Collaboratory at Purdue University, where she analyzed political messaging and framing across dozens of academic sources each week. In addition, she contributed to the Natural Resources Social Science Lab, supporting survey data analysis and report development on environmental and social policy issues.

Roxy recently graduated with a Master of Public Policy at American University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Purdue University, with a concentration in Environmental Politics and Policy and minors in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Sociology.
