The Democracy Security Project develops and produces educational resources and to help increase safety and security awareness for leaders and organizers across the country. We offer one-on-one assessment, support, and direct services to those facing on and offline harassment or threats. We work with security partners to minimize or mitigate extremist harassment and violence. We pair campaign & crisis management with security expertise to ensure a deep assessment of needs and solutions for our movement.

Democracy Security Project is led by seasoned non-profit and advocacy professionals from across the country who’ve dealt with physical and cyber threats of all kinds. Our approach to security is people-centric, prioritizing physical and cyber security, as well as emotional well-being. We hold space for your questions and create time to find the solutions. DSP workshops help prevent, prepare for, and respond to threats and danger. Our educational programs center on: Physical, Cyber, Events, Communications, and Legal trainings and resources. We also work with partner organizations to help monitor threats and develop real-time rapid response with durable and actionable insights for long-term learning. Investing in security, safety, and awareness helps us all build the sustainability and resilience of our people and our movement to drive the change we wish to see in the world.
