Democracy Security Project (DSP) was launched in 2024 to give organizations, leaders and advocates the training, tools, and support they need to stay safe while making a difference.

We offer a combination of resources including one-on-one assessment, training, and direct services to those facing harassment, disruptions to your work,including  online and offline threats.

We do this work because we know how dangerous this ever changing threat environment can be. We have managed non-profit organizations, campaigns, government agencies and other entities that have come under attack by domestic and foreign actors, rebuilt programs after data breaches, managed legal threats, and even faced down firearms, bomb threats , and death threats in our work. 

DSP is here to serve anyone in cultural and civil society. Since our founding, we have worked with people in a variety of industries and sectors, including civil servants, authors, labor organizers, educators, faith leaders, healthcare professionals, journalists, elected officials, and more.
